You can figure out the lessons. That is not much good if there is no way to act on the lessons. Even articulating them can get you in trouble. Acting on them can get you killed or imprisoned. If there is no way to do anything about it, awareness just leads to depression. So, people turn to fantasy.
This is an unbelievable articulation of the blind rage I feel every day seeing a whole generation thrown to the wolves of the financial system.
