So the IDF go into Rafah and find 50+ tunnels into Egypt. Funny that, cuz Egypt swore up and down a couple years ago that they destroyed or blocked all tunnels into their country. I guess they misspoke.

What else? Oh yeah, a number of dead hostages, left to rot. Including Shani Louk and others from the music festival. Shani was the one whose dead and mangled corpse they paraded around to cheers and jeers in the back of a truck.

Nora Loreto takes a stand with Hamas, cheers on those terrorists as freedom fighters.

The same way she somehow could find a way to cheer for the tragedy that befell the Humboldt Bronco team after their bus was blindsided on a highway one night. She is one sick mess of a mother. Someone should call child services on that one. With no moral code, I shudder to think of the mess she can make of a kid.

Well, the capitalist world was slow to oppose German Nazis and Italian Fascists. It took a threat to western imperialism by the Nazis before western powers decided to oppose them.

This isn't well-enough known. One of the most do-a-180 stats I have heard in recent years is that 70% of the US military in Vietnam volunteered to go fight Communism in a country they'd never heard of. But only 40% of the WW2 Americans volunteered to go fight fascists.

From the treatment of those two wars in popular culture, you'd assume those two stats were reversed.

All I can cling to, when it seems like the whole world is in sober agreement that I'm that mad one, is the eventual fortunes of cannabis prohibition and "The Gay Agenda".

Both were maintained for half a generation after almost nobody really believed in them, because they believed everybody *else* still did, and they'd be sticking their necks out to champion the Lost Causes.

But, that situation has been compared to the cardboard box in the rain - eventually a falling leaf will collapse it because it's all appearance, no real strength left. So, suddenly, not only were cannabis and gay marriage legal, but the former opponents lost all interest in ever mentioning the subjects again. Harper fought both - he actually re-ran old "this is your brain on drugs" ads in 2015 - but Poilievre, for all his combativeness, won't touch either issue, much less abortion: they totally, utterly, finally lost all three battles.

Thinking that, as I watch all criticism of Israel stomped, because I know the cardboard box is getting wetter and wetter.

Here’s Haaretz on the private security company angle. State Dept denies knowing anything, but I trust Haaretz on this one. They say everything but the name of the corporation—

Thank you for the article, Nora! Yesterday a mainstream USA reporter's persistence forced the White House hack in charge of genocide-laundering to practically flee the podium. The question that pushed the fartcatcher out the door: "Are you saying the UN rapporteur is lying?"

Maybe the Star journo who snapped that photo of the cop pushing the non-violent protestor away from NPS oughta lay a similar set of questions at the next news conference and see how long Mayor Chow lasts at the podium.
