New podcast, live show in Montreal
I am contractually obligated to myself to tell you these things.
I was looking up information about the bridge that connects Crimea to the mainland (yeah, the one that was bombed this past weekend) and found that they too had a big debate about whether or not the link should have been a tunnel or a bridge. It’s almost 17 KM long (so, twice what is being considered across Quebec City and Lévis) and it’s Russia’s largest bridge. It was a key piece of infrastructure as Russia asserted it’s control over Crimea after they annexed it in 2014.
With 2.4 million people living in Crimea, there are even fewer parallels that I can draw between it and Quebec City/Lévis proposed tunnel/bridge/high wire. But hey, 3e lien becomes 3-я ссылка in Russian and 3-тя ланка in Ukrainian, in case that’s useful information for anyone.
Here are a few things I need to promote to you:

There has been a lot (a lot!) of new subscribers to my Substack. THANK YOU!!! Don’t forget that if you want to kick some bucks my way, it’ll help pay me for most of the work that I do which is, very annoyingly, unpaid. Just subscribe with a paid amount here somewhere.
You need a new contract.
