One of the things that I thought that maybe the Daily News podcast would offer me was a moment of time where I took stock of the day. Maybe starting my day off speaking the date aloud might slow down time.
As I feel like I just wrote this round up, I’m realizing that no, that didn’t do anything. It just added more work to my day which has futher obliterated time.
No matter. The news doesnt’t care about my conceptions of time.
I’ve been desperately busy these past weeks and so I haven’t had the brain space to write here. Oh I had the time to. But when I say busy, I’m mostly talking about what’s going on inside my own head.
The countdown is on: less than one month until the first draft of my manuscript is due. To celebrate, I’ve started reading and am almost finished Game of Thrones.
