It always feels good to be home. Not that I can complain about being away — it felt good to be in Calgary and Banff and it felt really good to be on a direct Calgary-Quebec City trip. These don’t exist very often … unless of course Pierre Poilievre is on board. But that was a Westjet flight and me? I fly Air Canada out of spite for travel.
The thing about being on the road is that you have to figure out where and when to record your daily podcast. This week was full of moments where I was like … sorry, I still have to do what before I go to bed? Sorry if you noticed my scratchy throat. Whenever I go on the road, I talk too much. And then I try to fix it by drinking a lot of club soda but that might just make things worse.
All of that is to say … this is the introduction to this week’s news round up. You can listen to any episodes you might have missed here.
