We have the best news. Remember the GoFundMe I was organizing to pay for the passage of 8 people (including 5 children) from Gaza? Well, they’re scheduled to arrive in Canada on Monday. Monday! It’s happening! The story of how this has all happened is a long and interesting one but for now, suffice it to say that they’re coming. You can still donate to the GoFundMe — we are short of our goal and are still spending money.
Here are the headlines that I covered this week on the Daily News podcast. Take a listen, do a re-cap, see what you missed. The world may be burning but we can still learn about it. Isn’t that optimistic?
