Tomorrow, Quebec City will mark the eighth anniversay of the shooting at La Grande Mosquée in Sainte-Foy. For the first time since the first vigil the day after the attack, we are holding the event not on the 29th of January.

In addition to conferences being held at the mosque, tomorrow’s vigil is going to be a big event. We’re hosting a community tea and dessert and will be livestreaming the commemorative remarks live on our YouTube channel in English: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP6jyWtl7mM5JEkXY0WciUg

January 29 falls on a Wednesday this year. Be sure you do something to remember the victims, survivors and their families, and resist Islamophobia however you can.
